Wolf Technologies Ltd ("we", "our", "us") operates the Ember mobile application and web service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use Ember.
By using Ember, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Account Data: Email address (for authentication), display name (optional).
Fasting Data: Fasting session records (start time, end time, protocol, zone transitions), fasting history and streaks.
Health & Wellness Data: Weight logs (if you choose to log weight), self-reported metrics such as energy level, hunger level, mood, sleep quality, and cognitive clarity.
Subscription Data: Subscription tier (free, premium, lifetime). Purchase history is managed by Apple and not stored by us.
Technical Data: Device type and operating system version, app version, anonymous usage analytics.
GPS location, contacts, photos, biometric data, data from health devices or wearables, browsing history, or data from other apps.
We use your data to provide the fasting timer, history, and analytics features; calculate streaks and personalised insights; sync your data across devices; process your subscription; and improve the app through anonymous analytics. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the EU West (London) region (eu-west-2). All data is encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Authentication is managed by Amazon Cognito.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with the service providers above solely to operate the app, or if required by law.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data from the Profile screen, or by emailing support@wolftechnologies.co.uk. All personal data is permanently removed within 30 days of deletion.
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict, or object to processing of your data. Contact us at support@wolftechnologies.co.uk to exercise these rights.
Ember is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by posting the updated policy and changing the "Last updated" date.
